THERE are three days to go until Matthew Williamson unveils his spring/summer 2011 collection - and a month until the launch of his new book.As we joined the designer in his studio this morning for a preview of his spring/summer 2011 collection, the excitement and adrenalin began to build.
"You'd think after 13 years it wouldn't, but it does," Williamson told us, surrounded by his beautiful new season wares."We know what we're doing, we have a fantastic formula and we love what we've done - but still there is a nervous excitement as the tension takes hold."
While we can't give too much away - he'll unveil it in all its glory at Battersea Power Station on Sunday afternoon - we can tell you that this season Williamson's girl has been given a complete urban wardrobe - with a Williamson point of difference."It's built up from relaxed and easy pieces with utility details - the idea is that it's a western girl's wardrobe and she's escaped with her bag of clothes. She's definitely a girl who likes to travel."
Where exactly she's travelled to you'll have to wait and find out on Sunday - but we can guarantee she'll be followed.
