...2002, Diane von Fusternberg became an official US citizen after being sworn in at a Bridgeport court.The designer is originally from Belgium but has lived in the US almost all her life.Judge William Garfinkel said:"The fact that she took the time to become a citizen speaks well of her."

...2003, According to New York's Daily News, Jennifer Lopez took full advantage of becoming the face of Louis Vuitton by loading up on the designer items after shooting the campaign."[She took] shoes, dresses, bags, everything," said an unnamed source.Apparently minutes after the singer had left an assistant came back in saying Lopez had forgotten a pair of socks."She only took a few things so as not to be greedy.There was a ton of stuff left over," said Lopez's rep.
