Ivanka Trump, Karlie Kloss and the glamorous new Kushner dynasty

It???s been quite a week for the fashionable sculpted arms of the Kushner family.Mrs Ivanka Kushner made the announcement that her erstwhile namesake brand (which she had previously stepped down from running, although not from claiming profits)- Ivanka Trump - was to, sadly, close.Speculation over the decline and fall of this mid-level department store purveyor of Chanel-a-like pumps, ruffled blouses and stretchy white jeans, was rife.

Were customers, previously enamoured with her ???Working Women You Go Girl!??? schtick - ???we???re all in this stretchy red shift dress together??? put off by her role as blonde-in-chief for her father, the er, US President?Who can say...But as a sweet salve to cushion the blow, to us all, really, a new sunshine haired recruit is to be initiated into the Kushner family.As Ivanka herself commented on the Instagram post of her sister-in-law to be, ???I look forward to the decades of happy memories we will create together as a family!???

And what a family.Karlie Kloss, the 25 year old former Victoria???s Secret model, BFF to Taylor Swift, and walker of Versace runways has got herself.The liberal-leaning supermodel (she voted for Hillary - awkward - and was at the 2017 Women???s March in Washington) and fianc??Joshua - younger brother of Jared-advisor to Donald-Kushner have until now kept their relationship away from nosy public commentators.

Kloss has refused to comment on her entrepreneurial investor boyfriend of six years, yet now that a really quite sizeable rock is in place on her left hand, the couple are coming out of their publicity shy shell.Sweet of them really to divert some of the think-piece attention away from Ivanka???s issues.

The excited Kloss shared some private moments of her breaking the news - via FaceTime- to her sisters, mother and dear friends Bea York (yes, that one) and Serena Williams!It turns out Kloss and Kushner are quite the connected pair, even aside from their Washington-based relies.

Earlier in the week they were having a delightful time on board music-mogul David Geffen???s yacht sailing around Capri.Also on deck were Paul McCartney and Misha Nonoo - a fashion designer whom you may recall is also a friend to the Duchess of Sussex.

What a glamorous nest of interwoven lives these billionaire celebrities lead!It???s certainly a wedding guest list to look forward to.
